Now that you understand the need for valuable content, you're going to want to get targeted visitors to it.

One of the toughest things new marketers struggle with is getting traffic to their content. In other words, you need to take people from the information highway, and steer them toward the valuable content that you create.

In a nutshell, Lead Generation is more about redirecting the flow of traffic toward your content and offers. The traffic is constantly flowing already!

For simplicity sake, there are 2 main types of online traffic. Each has their own more specific sources, but it all falls under either FREE or PAID traffic. Let's dive in the these below...


Of course free is always nice. But nothing is actually free, it either takes time or money. Therefore free traffic will take longer to start flowing. However if you're just starting out and on a tight budget... it may be the way you want to go for now!

Here are a couple of effective sources of free traffic.

  • You Tube Videos 
  • Social Media Posts
  • Blogs
  • Articles on Public Forums


Paid traffic has many benefits. The main one of course being that it's much faster (sometimes even immediate!)  You can get traffic and results very quickly. It can cost you money as you test. However you can start with a small budget, test, and work your way up as your offers begin to convert.

  • Google Adwords
  • Bing Ads
  • Facebook Paid Ads
  • Instagram Paid Ads
  • Solo Ads
  • Etc.


After you've built your influence & trust among your target audience, and you've started conversation with them online; then is the time to start prospecting (actual networking starts here). 

Prospecting, when done right can bring you FREE Traffic and generate qualified leads asking you to give the business presentation! But most of the network marketers do it wrong and eventually ruin their own business due to lack of proper skills & knowledge.

Creating content and sending traffic eventually means that you'll start getting leads. People who want more info from you, that give you permission to send that info. They’re the people most interested in YOU and what you have to offer.

Ways to Follow Up With Your Leads...

1. Voice Call / Video Call

Easiest and simple way to follow up with your prospects is by calling them over phone. Our recommended way to follow up is to have a 1 to 1 meeting over Zoom or any other online meeting app.

2. Facebook Messenger / WhatsApp Chat

Facebook Messenger Marketing is the newest revolution when it comes to following up with your leads. The FB Messenger app alone is powerful in many ways. If your prospect is connected on WhatsApp with you, this could be another option.

3. Email Marketing

Every top network marketer and business owner uses Email marketing to follow up and nurture their leads to convert them into sales finally. You can build automated email campaigns or simply broadcast  to your prospect list offering them with more value and information about your offers.

Building an Email list

Building a lead list is one of the most important things that you can when it comes to network marketing online. Your Email list is your digital asset that can give revenue over time and again. The larger your email list the stronger is your conversion ratio so keep it growing. But building your email list is a technical skill you need to learn first.

This involves creating a free offer (often called a lead magnet) that entices your prospects to leave their information (email, phone number) in order to get it.

This process is called a Marketing Funnel. 

  1. Offer a high value Lead Magnet, they can't resist to download!
  2. Capture your leads using a Landing Page 
  3. Engage and communicate with your leads through email, using an email marketing software. 
  4. Put your offer in front of your lead!
